About My Tax Organizers
You will find the ones for individuals including Sole Proprietors below. Other Business Entity types are so diverse as to the information I need other than financial information I don’t use them for those.
I do require that the organizer package be filled out before you come to your appointment. Please note that I work by appointment only. I do not accept “drop in” or “drop off” customers.
You will see five documents below for 2018 which I discuss a little below. If you need prior year returns done, please call me and I will email the prior year organizers to you. Since the laws usually change some every year, they are all a little different.
- The Tax Organizer is the basic one that all clients fill in. It includes an important must read cover letter from me, my “Ten Commandments of Tax Prep”, Engagement Agreement, Use Consent Form, and the Organizer itself. The first 6 pages of the actual organizer have many fields that you can fill in on the computer if you like. There is also “What’s New for 2018” that summarizes the major tax changes for individuals and small businesses.
- If you are a Sole Proprietor or have Rental Properties there are separate organizers for that. If you keep your business financial records on QuickBooks, I will want your QuickBooks file. If you use another accounting program, Please call me and I will advise you of what reports to bring.
- Directions to my office. Please note that the directions mention that I am on the second floor. It is stair access only.
